We’ve put together an episode featuring residents across Bosque County on how they battled the winter storm. For our feature stories today, you’ll hear from Iredell residents that worked hard to band together and overcome adversity during the arctic blast. We’ve got a special segment on a Carter Blood Care Drive in Clifton, and how giving blood can land you free tickets to the Cliftex Theater. We talked to Brett Voss of the Meridian Parks & Recreation Department about the upcoming Chili Cookoff planned this year, a segment to recurring with a growing roster of planned activities and events for the whole family. You’ll also hear heartwarming stories of families that weathered the storm at Uncle Gus’ Marina and Resort, and the extreme generosity they experience during their unplanned stays. Listen in for local events, your arrest report from the Bosque County Sheriff’s Office and specials across Bosque.

In this episode, we talk National Domestic Violence Awareness month with the co-founder of a local Women’s Shelter in Bosque, Sarina Ozuna. In this episode, we highlight members of the Bosque County Community in remembering Wallace Sedberry. We talked to members of the Clifton Volunteer Fire Department, Trace Hendricks of the Clifton Police Department, Bobby Taylor of Brookshire’s where Sedberry worked for years, and Bryan Davis of the Bosque Arts Center. This is a follow-up from our feature segment from last Thursday’s episode, with the final radio call over Bosque County airwaves at graveside services.
